Rogue Preppers
Rogue Preppers is the preparedness movement on Holy Rogue Network — but the question at the heart of it is not what gear you've stored. It is where you will go when the sirens sound. If a national alert tonight said "this is not a test, the missiles are inbound, you have thirty minutes," would you have somewhere to go? Would you want one if you don't? That question is the doorway into this movement. Food storage and rotation, water storage and filtration, off-grid power, communications, defense and security, trauma and household medical, shelter and bug-out planning, growing and raising your own food, hunting and fishing and foraging and trapping, canning and fermenting and dehydrating and freeze-drying, EMP and grid-down planning, faith-based household readiness — every traditional prep pillar lives here. But every pillar serves the central organizing question: where is your Place to Go, and who are the brothers and sisters who will be there with you? Founder Kimball Roundy organizes the Preppers conversation around a question he asks straight to camera: who are you in this scenario? Seven categories, each drawn from scripture, each defining a different posture toward what is coming: - The WIDOW or ELIJAH (1 Kings 17) — pure faith; shelters in place; God provides the cruse of oil and the barrel of meal that don't run out. If that's you, you're saved and the story will be miraculous. - LEHI (1 Nephi 1-18) — the rich ruler who lived in a tent. Listened to the prophets, fled Jerusalem before destruction, walked the wilderness with his family, ended up in the land of Bountiful that God had prepared for him. If that's you, you're already on the bus. - LOT (Genesis 19) — the rich ruler who flew to a cave. Angels rescued him at the eleventh hour; he survived Sodom but the cave aftermath was its own price. If that's you, you may be saved by mercy but not by foresight. - ISHMAEL (1 Nephi 7) — the one left behind. Watching the righteous Exodus from inside Babylon and feeling the FOMO. If that's you, the message is simple: come find us. There are families with daughters and sons who need yours, and the Lehis who already left will come back for you. - JOSEPH IN EGYPT (Genesis 41) or ESTHER (Esther 4) — the smart, capable, God-led one still in Babylon for a reason. If that's you, your job is to stay sharp and be ready when the assignment comes. - ABRAHAM (Genesis 14, 18) — the one who got out early enough to be prepared. Fed 300 families through famine. Rescued Lot with an army. If that's you, this whole network is built around your ability to host. - THE SEVENTH — if you don't fall in any of these categories, name yours in the conversation. The framework is honest and self-identification matters. Founder Kimball Roundy calls himself an aspiring "Labraham" — Lehi becoming Abraham. He is on the bus to Bountiful (literally — there is a Schoolie bus build in progress as of 2026), having fled Utah County for a tiny desert town where his family lives close to the land, learns the hard skills, and waits for the brothers and sisters God will send. His family's specific contribution to the broader preparedness picture is what they call Living Food Storage: small-scale aquaponics and other compact growing systems (founder's basement-aquaponics era growing 100 heads of lettuce a week on a conveyor belt; schools-aquaponics installations; the original POOPower naming; his Rogue Aquarists and Rogue Growers movement work). The aim is the Abraham promise — a Place to Go where the family can become the host who feeds 300 families through famine, defends them through siege, and shelters them through whatever comes. That ambition has had a name since 2005, when Kimball first asked God his Why for business and was told: A Place to Go for people who have nowhere else to go. The same Why now powers this movement. The doctrinal anchor is that the Exodus is happening NOW, not at some future moment of triumphant rescue. Three scriptural anchors carry the framing. First, Mark 10's Eye of the Needle — properly understood as the ancient Jerusalem gate that a camel had to be STRIPPED of its bags and made to KNEEL to pass through. The rich are not barred from heaven; they are required to humble themselves and shed possessions to enter. The thirty-minute-warning thought experiment forces the same posture in real time: nothing you cannot grab and carry out the door is coming with you. Second, Isaiah's "beckon them with the hand to advance into the precincts of the elite" — the founder reads this as the smart cities and the 15-minute cities and the corporate-managed urban concentrations being the gathering places where the wicked are bundled before destruction. The counter-instruction is to get out and find brothers in the wilderness. Third, the Rapture as Exodus — the warning may not be sit on the couch and wait to be lifted up. It may be Babylon is going to burn — read your scriptures, hear the voice, and LEAVE. If you missed the leave-now, you may have missed the rapture. The flagship operational mechanic of this movement is Liberty Cove and the Provident Living Marketplace — a matchmaking service inside the Holy Rogue Network for the seven characters to find each other. People with land, resources, food systems, and hosting capacity (the Abrahams) get matched with people seeking a Place to Go (the Lehis on the bus, the Ishmaels with FOMO, the Josephs and Esthers ready when called, the Lots needing eleventh-hour shelter). Geographic clustering, skill complementarity, faith alignment, family-team matching — the marketplace surfaces all of it. Properties with available host capacity list as Liberty Cove Storefronts (acres available, food-system production capacity, water and shelter and security, hosting season and terms); seekers list their household composition, skills offered, and urgency. The network earns trust by verifying both sides through Halo Rating and physical visits. This is not an Airbnb reservation system — it is a preparedness brotherhood matching people to places before the sirens sound, so the answer to "do you have somewhere to go?" can be yes. The doctrinal anchor on the supply side is Provident Self-Reliance, not lone-wolf survivalism. Self-reliance as commonly framed is a lie; you cannot achieve it by your own effort, alone, in a bunker, by your own arm. What you can achieve, anchored in God's leading and surrounded by like-minded brothers and sisters, is Provident Self-Reliance — a community of capable households whose combined skills, supplies, covenants, and Liberty Cove relationships form a resilience no individual could ever build. The whole self-reliance industry that sells the dream of being saved by your own stockpile is the antithesis of this movement. We are building the brotherhood instead. Cross-references run through the entire network. Rogue Growers and Rogue Aquarists feed the Living Food Storage pillar. Rogue Hunters and Rogue Anglers feed the protein-acquisition pillar. Rogue Lumberjacks supplies the heat-and-shelter pillar (firewood, lumber, salvage). Rogue Forge supplies the tool-and-blade pillar. Rogue Radio is the communications pillar (every prepper standing up household or neighborhood comms gets pointed to Rogue Radio's licensing curriculum and gear directory). Rogue Wellness owns the medical and trauma pillar. Rogue Movers owns the physical-capability pillar (you cannot carry a 5-gallon water can across a parking lot if you couldn't walk one across a kitchen). Rogue Rock Smiters is the doctrinal capstone — the Provident Self-Reliance framing originates there, and the Rock Smiter's Title of Liberty raised at the mailbox is the public declaration that often precedes a household's Liberty Cove listing. Iron Rod and Rogue Disciples own the spiritual preparedness pillar — the most important pillar, and the one most preppers neglect. And Liberty Farms is the literal Place to Go where Kimball's family hosts: the 10-acre Roundy parcel plus the 23-acre Josh Austin partnership (Tiny Homes + RV Spots) is the founder's first Liberty Cove operation made manifest. Marketplace, Tier Ladder, Easy Score, and Family Kit. The marketplace runs the standard Holy Rogue Network template plus the Liberty Cove + Provident Living Marketplace overlay: Storefronts (vetted prepper-supply vendors with Halo Ratings, structured curriculum subscriptions, one-on-one preparedness consultants, AND Liberty Cove Hosts listing available host capacity); Classifieds (used gear, "I'll trade chickens for solar panels" arrangements, local stockpile co-op organizing); Hot Ovens (live group prep events — canning days, ham radio test sessions, medical training, neighborhood-mutual-aid drills, regional Living Food Storage build-outs, Liberty Cove Host visit days); Clubs (local preparedness circles, ward and stake preparedness committees, neighborhood mutual-aid networks, off-grid living groups, faith-based prep cohorts). Tier ladder: Certified Rogue Prepper (household with verified pantry / water / power / comms / medical / Living Food Storage system in operation), then Master Prepper (Faculty rank — co-teaching, hosting cohorts, named publicly; imported-YouTube-creator Faculty seats reserved), then Founding Prepper (network-launched leadership tier including regional mutual-aid coordinators and verified Liberty Cove Hosts hosting 10+ matched seekers). Two parallel tracks: Liberty Cove HOST track (you have land/resources to offer) and Liberty Cove SEEKER track (you are looking for a Place to Go). Youth tier: Stripling Prepper (David-stripling lineage, earned via father-child or family preparedness milestones — first solo fire, first canning batch, first ham contact, first garden harvest). Family kit: Mighty Prepper Kit (mom-purchased family upgrade for little ones — small kid-safe headlamp, starter water-filter straw, kid-sized go-bag, beginner sprouting jar, simple weather-radio, and Mighty Prepper apron all just like the family preparedness lead's; mirrors the Mighty Smiter, Mighty Jack, Mighty Mason, Mighty Musician, Mighty Lens, and Mighty Mic kits across the network). The Easy Score block: Davee scaffolds the early Easy levels with curated YouTube content and per-household prep-task tracking; Founding Prepper Kimball Roundy contributes the Living Food Storage curriculum directly (Easy 9-6 range); flagship Faculty seats remain open for imported preparedness teachers and YouTube creators to fill as they engage with the network and accept Master Prepper designations.
