Rogue Gold
Rogue Gold is the savings half of the Holy Rogue currency stack. Where Rogue Cash (RC) is the spending layer creators and customers use day-to-day across the network, Rogue Gold (RG) is what RC settles INTO when you're ready to pull value out of the digital economy and into something that doesn't inflate, doesn't get debanked, and doesn't need anyone's permission to exist. Every RG unit on the network is backed 1:1 by physical, audited gold or silver — Goldbacks, Silverbacks, Gold Eagles, Silver Eagles — sitting in a real vault with your name on it. The vault layer is organized by UPMA (the United Precious Metals Association), an organization 60,000+ members strong with over $220 million in privately-owned gold and silver stored across various private vaults held by various providers. Jeff Allen — Kimball's friend — is the currently elected President of the UPMA Board. Alpine Gold is a SEPARATE entity from UPMA (its owners are UPMA members, but it stands on its own) and is currently the main and only publicly-available Vault Provider in the Holy Rogue Network — Crown Vault Provider Node #1. Additional Crown Vault Providers are being accredited across the country so members can vault locally with people they know. UPMA is the orchestrating and auditing body; Alpine Gold (and the providers being onboarded next) is where the metal actually lives. This is built by people who have counted the metal themselves. Kimball assisted in the most recent Alpine Gold vault audit — he counted the Goldbacks, Silverbacks, Gold Eagles, and Silver Eagles with his own hands and eyes. That hands-on, in-person, name-and-face accountability is the entire point. It's the opposite of the abstract, paper-trail, trust-the-balance-sheet model that left people holding nothing in 2008 and 2023. Three settlement paths when you turn RC into RG: - **Ship It** — physical Goldbacks, Silverbacks, Gold Eagles, or Silver Eagles delivered to your door. The metal lives in your hand. - **Vault It With a Provider** — held in your name at Alpine Gold (or, soon, an accredited Crown Vault Provider in your region). You can visit it, audit it, withdraw it. - **Home Vault It** — for members who already operate their own home vaulting. RG ledger reflects the deposit; the metal lives where you put it. Holy Rogue Network never holds anyone's money but its own. There is no platform fee on creator earnings, no platform cut on vendor sales, no Stripe Connect skim. BYOK + BYOStripe means every creator and vendor keeps every dollar — HRN's revenue comes from its own products and SaaS subscriptions, not from being a toll booth on yours.
