Rogue Forge is the broader blacksmithing movement on Holy Rogue Network — for the people learning to bend, shape, and forge raw iron into something useful, beautiful, and lasting. Decorative iron, gates and railings, hooks and hardware, hinges, tools, ornamental architecture, period restoration, sculpture, hand-forged kitchen utilities, candleholders, fire pokers, garden tools — anything where steel and a hammer in skilled hands becomes something worth keeping. Sister movement Rogue Blades handles the bladesmithing-niche subset (knives, swords, axes); Rogue Forge is the broader trade. The deeper meaning is in the name. Isaiah 43:7 — "All who are called by my name, whom I have formed, molded and wrought for my own glory" — names the parallel: the smith forges metal, and God forges the smith. Every hour at the anvil is a small lesson in being shaped under fire. Rogue Forge is the place where men learn the trade and let the trade re-shape them in turn. The classroom side gathers the blacksmithing creators teaching the craft — fire management, anvil work, hammer technique, drawing out, upsetting, scrolling, twisting, punching, riveting, joinery (collars, rivets, mortise and tenon in iron), bending and forging architectural hardware, fabricating gates and railings, restoring antique iron, building your first forge, sourcing coal versus propane, choosing the right anvil. Imported from across the internet (Alec Steele, Black Bear Forge, Christ Centered Ironworks, Torbjörn Åhman, Joe Pieczynski, John Switzer, the deep bench of blacksmithing YouTube), claimed when the creators find us. Live Workshops at HolyPlaces fill out the calendar — weekend forge classes at a working smithy, Saturday-morning kids' classes, week-long restoration intensives. The marketplace runs the same Holy Rogue Network template. Custom forged commissions (gates, railings, hardware, hinges, fire pokers, garden tools, sculpture), restoration services, classes and apprenticeships, forge equipment (anvils, hammers, tongs, forges, blowers, post vises, swage blocks), raw stock, coal and coke, propane forge supplies, smithy field trips, in-person Live Workshops. Climb the Halo Rating ladder by being the smith whose ironwork stays on the gate for a hundred years, the teacher whose apprentices keep forging. Eventually graduate to certified Master Smith — the senior tier of practitioners vouched for by peers and clients — and host signature classes, restoration residencies, or private commissions of your own.
