Rogue Carpenter
Rogue Carpenter is the wood shop of Rogue Schoolers and the carpentry trade home of Holy Rogue Network — for the homeschool kid building his first birdhouse, the dad framing his first deck, the weekend woodworker turning slabs into furniture, the finish carpenter installing crown molding for a living, and the shop teacher passing the trade to the next generation. Sister movement Rogue Lumberjacks gets the trees and turns them into usable lumber; Rogue Carpenter is what happens when that lumber meets a saw, a plane, a chisel, and a person who wants to build something. The classroom side gathers the woodworking and carpentry creators teaching the craft — joinery (dovetails, mortise and tenon, half laps, dados), framing fundamentals, finish carpentry, cabinetry and kitchen builds, furniture making, table building, lathe work, router setups, sharpening, shop layout, dust collection, and the safety habits that keep all ten fingers in service for a lifetime. Imported from across the internet (Steve Ramsey, Jay Bates, Jonathan Katz-Moses, Stumpy Nubs, Matthias Wandel, James Wright, April Wilkerson, Rex Krueger and the deep bench of woodworking YouTube), claimed when the creators find us. Live Workshops at HolyPlaces fill out the calendar — weekend classes at a local maker's shop, kids' Saturday-morning wood shop in a dad's garage, finish-carpentry bootcamps for the trades-curious. The marketplace runs the same Holy Rogue Network template. Custom furniture commissions, finish-carpentry services, framing crews for hire, kitchen-cabinet builds, woodworking plans (free and paid), tool sales (new and vintage), wood species sourcing, lumber and slab listings, classes, apprenticeship slots. Climb the Halo Rating ladder by being the carpenter whose finish work never separates, the furniture maker whose tables outlast the buyers, the teacher whose students keep building. Eventually graduate to certified Carpenter Angel and host signature classes, apprenticeships, or Live Workshops of your own. Sister movement Rogue Tradesmen is the broader trades umbrella covering welding, plumbing, electrical, and beyond — Rogue Carpenter is specifically wood, hands, and the saw.
