Rogue Archers
Rogue Archers is the archery movement on Holy Rogue Network — every bow, every discipline: traditional and primitive archery, longbow, recurve, barebow, compound, Olympic target, field and 3D courses, bowhunting, bowfishing, youth leagues, and the backyard hay bale where it all starts. But this movement is not organized around equipment — it is organized around teaching. Archery is the oldest hunting skill mankind still carries, and it survives exactly one way: someone who knows puts a bow into the hands of someone who does not, stands at their shoulder, and teaches the stance, the draw, the anchor, the release. In Rogue Archers your rank is measured as much by who you have taught as by what you have hit. The spine of the movement is the covenant friendship of Jonathan and David (1 Samuel 20). When David was in his hardest season, hiding in a field, it was Jonathan the archer whose arrows carried the message that he was not forgotten. "Is not the arrow beyond thee?" — go farther; there is more ahead of you than behind. That is what an arrow is here: a signal between friends, sent farther than a voice can reach. Archers loose for each other. Sister movement to Rogue Hunters (bowhunters live in both — same forests, different harvests), Gun Show (marksmanship kin), and Rogue Adventurers (back-country shared). The youth tier carries the David-stripling lineage: the Stripling Archer, alongside Stripling Hunter and Digital Stripling.
